The submission window for entries will be open from September 2, 2019, through September 4, 2019. Junior Fest itself typically takes place towards the end of September, though no specific date has been set. Junior Eurovision 2019 will be held on November 24, 2019.
This will be Albania’s sixth attempt at Junior Eurovision, with Mishela Rapo’s 5th place in 2015 with “Dambaje” being their best placing, and last year’s 17th by Efi Gjika’s “Barbie” being their lowest.
Stay tuned as we bring you more announcements, with the end of June being the deadline for countries to tell the European Broadcasting Union that they intend to participate.
Hosts Poland, Australia, France, Georgia (their national selection final is on Sunday, May 26, 2019), Ireland, The Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, and Wales are the other nine confirmed thus far.
