Malta held a national final to select their representative for the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest on the 11th of July this year, and Junior Eurovision fans have been eagerly awaiting the song that has been internally selected to represent Malta to be revealed. Today, Destiny Chukunyere, the singer who won the Maltese final and therefore the Maltese ticket to Sofia announced that the song would be entitled “Not My Soul”.

The song will be premiered on Monday 26th of October at 12:00pm CET on TVM.com.mt. Destiny has stated: “The song is written by Elton Zarb and Matt Muxu Mercieca alongside the help of my teachers Maria Abdilla and Roberta Debono and also a bit of my input”. No hints as to what style the song will be have been announced and fans will have to wait another 3 days to hear the song that will be hoping to gain Malta their second Junior Eurovision win in 3 years.

Malta hosted the contest last year after Gaia Cauchi won the 2013 contest. Federica Falzon represented her country on home soil in Marsa last year where she wowed the audience with her amazing voice and ended 4th overall.

The 2015 contest will be held on Sofia, Bulgaria on the 21st of November, and will be hosted by Poli Genova.
