Serbia’s national broadcaster, Radio Televizija Srbije (RTS), confirmed last month that it will return to Eurovision this year and will have the composer Vladimir Graić, who wrote Serbia’s 2007 winning entry Molitva write three songs to compete in the national selection. Three different singers will perform each of the three songs. Two candidates will be acclaimed Serbian singers and one singer will be selected through auditions in six Serbian cities – Belgrade, Niš, Novi Sad, Zaječar, Kragujevac, and Užice. Serb citizens who are interested in representing Serbia in Vienna can send their personal details and a less than one minute long clip of them performing Serbian pop/rock song to evrovizija@vladimirgraic.com.
Serbia’s national final for Vienna will take place in February – stay tuned for more details!
