Israel: 45 acts left to fight for survival in HaKokhav HaBa!

45 artists now remain in Israel’s race to find a singer. The casting stage of their national selection HaKokhav HaBa (The Next Star) is now over and we are left with the lucky artists who achieved an approval rating of 70% or greater from the jury – including former entrant Harel Skaat –  and audience.

The next stage of the contest features an X Factor-like twist – artists will be led to believe they are simply rehearsing for the next stage of the competition when in fact a jury will be watching them and deciding whether they should progress or not. Only 15 artists will survive this round.
