Seven of the eight artists taking part in the national selection, Unser Song für Österreich, have been announced today by the German broadcaster NDR.
Amongst the artists are popular pagan folk band Faun, X Factor winners Mrs. Greenbird and notable DJ and remixer Noize Generation.
‘Nature pop’ project Fahrenhaidt, pianist Alexa Feser, The Voice winner Andreas Kümmert and girl group Laing complete the line-up.
The announcement brings and end to weeks of fervent speculation by fans. The eighth artist to be decided for the final will be announced on February 19th as the winner of the club concert wildcard round.
