Edgar Bohm, has revealed that the special 60th anniversary show will be host in the United Kingdom, by Eurovision broadcaster, BBC. All details of this are all a bit vague at the minute, but it is rumoured to be held in London. (Perhaps 02 arena, Earl’s Court, Wembley arena?)
People have been tweeting and gossiping about her news on Twitter, with the BBC’s own candid commentator “Dr Eurovison” (@dreurovision) saying “Delighted the BBC will host the 60th anniversary show for #eurovision. A logical choice, world class broadcaster, will do a good job!”
The executive producer of the 2015 contest, said about the anniversary whilst he was at the semi final allocation draw “the Anniversary of the song contest is covered by a BBC show, they are looking back in the history, whilst we look forward to he next winner for the next
host country”
All exciting stuff. I’m sure further details will be released on this BBC produced show in the not so distant future, so keep and eye out. As usual, join the debate on ESCUnited forum, do you think London would be a good choice?
