The Eurovision world is still reeling from the shock announcement of Australia’s participation yesterday but the first details of Down Under’s participation are already being revealed.
Julia Zemiro, Australia’s commentator in the contest, has announced that the Australian entry for 2015 will be decided and announced in early March. It is currently unknown whether the country will go for an unknown artist or a big name but all should be revealed within the next few weeks!
Australia will take part in Eurovision for the first and likely only time in 2015 as part of the EBU’s 60th anniversary celebrations. The country has broadcast Eurovision on SBS for over thirty years and sent Jessica Mauboy to perform during an interval act in Copenhagen 2014.
