While we are already nearly halfway through the Eurovision week, we got the quick chance to sit down with Belgium’ very own Gustaph for a quick chat and play a little game.
We learned a bit more about how Gustaph actually met the Swan of Vogue herself PussCee West, and why the team made the decision that PussCee was the choice for their staging. Turns out they have a history together and in March they had clear intentions that she needed to join the staging as their “secret weapon.”
We also talked about what Gustaph’s fans can expect after Eurovision and he spilled a number of great plans including Pride performances, a new album from the house genre, and hopefully the Eurovision collaborations we talked about in our last interview together! We can’t wait for those to come out but make sure you are plugged into his social media and streaming platforms so you don’t miss it!
Who is Gustaph?
Gustaph is a singer, song-writer, vocal coach, and educator who won the Belgian national final Eurosong earlier this year, much to the surprise of the nation. He has been working in music for nearly 20 years and broke into the charts with his very first single. He then collaborated with Hercules and Love Affair and helped the Belgian delegation at Eurovision for 2018 and 2021.
He will represent Belgium in the second semi-final of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest on May 11th at 21:00 CET.
