After months of speculation, official announcements followed by withdrawn offers, false leaks, and rumours, the German broadcaster have now released the list of acts and songs that will be hoping to represent Germany in the Globe Arena in Stockholm in May.
Unser Lied für Stockholm will select the German representative for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, there will be ten acts hoping to win the title. The ten acts and songs are:
Avantasia – Mystery Of A Blood Red Rose
Alex Diehl – Nur ein Lied
Ella Endlich – Adrenalin
Gregorian – Masters Of Chant
Jamie-Lee Kriewitz – Ghost
Joco – Full Moon
Keøma – Protected
Laura Pinski – Under The Sun We Are One
Luxuslärm – Solange Liebe in mir wohnt
Woods of Birnam – Lift Me Up (From The Underground)
The German representative will be selected on the 25th of February, where the winner will be selected 100% by the public through various methods (televote, app, text votes). The show will begin at 20:15 CET and the show will be hosted by Barbara Schöneberger.
Fingers crossed the winner of Unser Lied für Stockholm will not decline the offer live on stage after they are announced the winner, as they did in 2015.
