this was long overdue for you to win this competition! Fantastic winner song. If there wasn't IDF (which btw I agree on with Joao, that this is the best WV song of this year so far) I would have LOVED to give my 12 to Kis kece.
I expected Hungary to easily make the Top 5 but I didn't expect it to win or let alone by a landslide. There must be something special about that old Hungarian Kis kece lányom tune that the WV community loves, at least if it interpreted with a mysterious and dark undertone. I know what I'm talking about. Hope you are going to host Gabor :) Hungary would be a great place to host a WV edition.

Results have been good in general, only :us: flopping makes me a little sad

Ok so I tried to gather my thoughts, they are still all over the place.

First of all KÖSZÖNÖM SZÉPEN! I can't believe I finally did it xcry My debut was back in WV107, since then my best result so far was 2nd place. As @RainyWoods rightfully stated I try to share a lot of truly authentic Hungarian entries with you, my goal is to present to you all the different faces Hungary has to offer. It is also important to me to balance the different genres and languages (in terms of balance the Hungarian/English/whatever language ratio).

Now let's talk about my winner (still weird to spell that out) entry. It's quite ironic that I achieved my first win with my back-up entry. Originally I sent Daddy Said No by Carson Coma (it's a fun song, with great lyrics), but it got denied rightfully as it was taking part in San Marinos NF lol (I had no idea). So Deva it is. I was planning to send Deva for a long time, but it never happened. @hjarnskakning has also asked me last year when I am finally going to send Deva :lol: Originally I had another favorite of hers (I am pretty sure I will send that sometime as well), but this one is a rather newer entry of hers. By competing with it, I had no idea I could win with it. I was thinking the same way as @ShoeFlo, Top 5 would be nice. To win by a margin of :6::2: points is unbelievable to me, and :1::7::6: points in the semis?! I'm speechless, I must be dreaming xcry I am especially happy about the fact, that a song in Hungarian was able to achieve this kind of success. I am honored to have led Hungary to it's first ever WV victory xheart (if I am not mistaken).

In terms of hosting imma have to talk to some experienced players and ask if they think there is any way this could work :lol:
I would love there to be a WV edition in Hungary, I have a lot of ideas too. The problem is, I have never in my life done anything similar to this, so I would need help in literally everything 😅 I have a little more time on my hands as this uni semester is a bit easier luckily. But over easter I won't be able to work at all as I am flying home visiting family. So I don't know if/how that could work tbh. Either way I already know what my PQ is going to be. I have always said to myself if I would ever win this is going to be it. More to this later.
