Vinyl - Anyone a fan?

Hi!

I have recently equipped myself with a record player and speakers and started collecting a variety of vinyl records. With the world of Ebay at my finger tips its a great way to get a lot of older music for very cheap. The record player I have coverts songs to mp3 on a USB stick which I can then transfer to my iTunes account. I have bought many "job lots" of 80's and 70's music with over 10 records included for only 99p plus postage.

I have begun a Eurovision collection, starting with the UK entries and then will branch out. The sound is amazing and has a real raw quality to the songs.

Anyone else into vinyl records or collection certain types like I am with Eurovision? Also I finally have a decent version of the 1983 UK entry Sweet Dreams "I'm never giving up".

Managed to nab myself this wonderful vinyl for only £6 which, I'm sure [MENTION=9441]RainyWoods[/MENTION] and [MENTION=14007]lavieenrose[/MENTION] would agree, is the best bargain EVER.

It even has iconic hits like Straight Up and Opposites Attract

I have a record player and plenty of vinyls that were my mum & dad's from the 70's I never listen to them though, I only ever listen to music online these days. I have to say though there is something charming about putting a record on

I started buying some but the record player I have is not that great, so I've held off for the time being.

My country suddenly turned to adore vinyls, idk why.

As for myself, CDs FTW. At least I have something to play them on.
