The first set of tickets for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö will be released already on the coming Monday 26 November, the host broadcaster SVT revealed today. The cheapest tickets to one of the nine shows will cost 90 SEK (about 10 Euro) up to 1950 SEK (ca 226 Euro).
There will be tickets for two rehearsals for each of the two semi-finals and the final, as well as the actual live shows. A first stage of tickets sale will start on Monday morning at 10.00 CET. More tickets will be released for sale when it becomes clear how much room is needed for the cameras and other technical arrangements in the hall. It has already been decided by drawing of lots, that Denmark will be in the first semi-final and Norway in the second semi-final. Sweden, as the organising nation is only performing in the final, just like the so called Big 5 countries.
The tickets will be sold via Ticnet.se, the Swedish arm of international Ticketmaster. Information on the tickets page of eurovision.tv here.
As reported before, members of the Eurovision fan clubs will have their places allocated as a standing room only area on the floor of the arena, to maximise the capacity of fans in the venue. The organisers also say the fans are an important part of the show with their enthusiasm and engagement, so they will made into a bigger part of the show. The Eurovision fan club members will have a week pre-sale for the tickets on the floor area, and will be offered packages with tickets to six shows for 2975 SEK (around 345 Euros). Members of these clubs will be informed how to buy these ticket packages from Monday 26 November. A special fan zone with seats has also been added to the fan area now, and the seats in that area will be administrated by OGAE international. After one week the unsold fan area tickets will be sold to the general public after 3 December 2012.

I was thinking the same, they didn't give people a proper heads up on this one and I'm sure you're not going to be the only one struggling with the timing.

Hey guys, Sokratis here from Australia,

I have been contacting OGAE and Eurovision websites for weeks now trying to get information on how to become a fan. I am sooo confused as to why I have recieved no information back form them at all. Im guessing I wont be able to buy tickets to the show?

I currently have already booked flights and accomodation and was hoping to buy tickets to the second semi final and the final. I am worried that I will not be able to get any tickets.

I have many questions but basically:

1. If I do somehow get a chance to buy in the fan time, is it possible to buy single tickets or does it have to be in a package

2. Do tickets usually sell out quickly for the normal sale??

Much appreciated if ANYONE could help me. Being stuck in Australia sucks

Actually let me answer your two questions here

1. what's fan time? If you buy it via OGAE it's only package deals so it's a bit more than you may want. You can buy individual tickets using the Swedish link posted

2. Considering it's in Sweden and a very small venue the tickets will sell out in no time.

Does anybody know if the tickets avaliable on December 3rd (if there are some tickets rest) will be sold as single tickets or as packages, too?

I am SO hoping to get tickets to see the final. Since I am not interested in bying a package, I will try my luck on Monday. But I dont know how...Normally I am not able to take a "time-out" when I am at work.
The timing for the sales of the tickets is definitely not the best. And I am pretty sure the tickets will be sold out in no time...

If they're out so soon, does that mean that the official design will be out quite soon after?

You mean the OGAE leftover tickets (if any)? As far as I know they'll be individual tickets.

The general public tickets will be gone in no time, that is probabaly true. They expect a capacity of 11 000 so just be quick. SVT did a horrible job with the ticket sale, not giving people the proper time to prepare. While it doesn't really affect my timing it just seems to uncaring and unprofessional on their part. So far this has been the worst pre contest organization since I am part of it.

Do we know how much the general sale tickets will cost? I recalled Dusseldorf was about €89 for a regular seat at the final...

Tickets can go up to 250 for the Final show but those are the better seats. Anything further in the back should be around your estimates.

Sold out... I did NOT get through on the phone. And when I finally got through on the net it was 10.23 - and sold out.... What a great idea to choose a smaller venue this year.....

I had 2 computers on 2 different internet connections - they both went into a 'queue' at about 09:53, I got through on both of them at about 10:03... and the grand final was already sold out.

Myself and 2 friends did manage to get tickets to the dress rehearsal of the 2nd Semi Final though... so at least we'll get to visit Malmö/Copenhagen, see the staging, venue, some acts perform and still enjoy the grand final on TV (and although being in the venue is fun - it's so different to seeing the show live on TV which has the commentary, shots, graphics - I think I might prefer it on TV anyway!).

I don't want to rub it in or anything for those who didn't get tickets, but i'm so happy as I managed to get good seats for both the semi's. Didn't bother looking at final though as I imagined that would sell out instantly. This is also my first eurovision so makes it that extra special.

Anybody going to be sitting in block A14 on 14th & 16th. I'm row 5 on 14th and row 2 on 16th.

I called them a few minutes ago and bought my reservedfan tickets but I also tried this morning at 10 AM for 45 minutes and gave up. I figured that was going to happen I mean even Duesseldorf sold out in no time and they had over 30000 seats.

I'm very sorry for those who didn't get a ticket for the Final. And I hope to get to meet some of you next May.

Sorry that you didn't get better tickets, at least you get to go. It sucks the way Sweden handled the ticket sale. It's insane that tickets were gone 3 minutes after the line opened......
