"In 2007 (Serbia - 'Molitva'), 2009 (Norway - 'Fairytale'), 2010 (Germany - 'Sattelite'), 2012 (Sweden - 'Euphoria') and last year (Denmark - 'Only Teardrops') this poll picked the right winner.

In 2008 however our winner was Sweden ('Hero'), who only finished 18th in the real contest.
ESC 2008 winner Russia ('Believe') came 9th in our poll.

In 2011 our winner was Hungary ('What About My Dreams?'), who finished bottom 5 (22nd) in the ESC final, whereas the real winners, Azerbaijan ('Running Scared'), came 7th in the poll."

And how is the voting starting when we still have to know one song?

Because we're sick of waiting. What is funny though, is how Russia even has points.

Given that they're using country-based voting, I take it you can't vote from outside of Europe?

EDIT: Never mind, I just found the 'rest of the world' category.

Yeah, and the Western countries are almost always over-represented in these polls. If you take a look at the eastern countries, most of them have just a few voters.

Right, the :uk: have a mahoosive lead... 155points ahead of :se: so, I have a question about IP addresses.. do they get checked automatically? or do you randomly check a certain amount?

Just want to know whether someone has been cheating or it is genuine?

You can vote for your own country I think.
At least in the last voters thingy there was a girl from Portugal giving 12 to Portugal

They are not counted though. See on the UK score sheet, 410 points have been given to the UK by British people, but it is not counted.

So after a few looks over the table, I have come to conclusion of who will win Eurovision 2014. These are the poll results since 2008
In 2008, Sweden won the poll but flopped in the real Eurovision final. Russia came 9th in the poll and won in the final
In 2009, Norway won the poll and the contest
In 2010, Germany won the poll and the contest
In 2011, Hungary won the poll but flopped in the real Eurovision final. Azerbaijan came 7th in the poll and won in the final
In 2012, Sweden won the poll and the contest
In 2013, Denmark won the poll and the contest

The pattern here is, every three years, the winner of the poll fails in the Eurovision final and winner is an Eastern European country which came in the low top 10 in the poll. From this, I can conclude that the current favourite in the poll (The UK) will fail in Eurovision and come around 20th. I can also conclude that the winner of Eurovision 2014 will be Romania as it is an Eastern country currently in 10th. Of course the poll could still change and if it does, I'll update this post. But for now, book your tickets for Bucharest 2015!

Note: Take none of this as actual proof. It's just speculation

Except that's not how the public will think so any kind of analysis based on patterns isn't real

I don't agree with my findings. I'm just using previous patterns to make some interesting predictions and discussion. I don't really believe that the UK will do badly, or that Romania will win. It's just an idea
