Meh. Shouldn't they wait for the songs to be chosen first? That way, I could bet 100€ on :me:, hope for a really good entry and eventually win 10000€ xshrug

actually this isn't such a bad idea... xthink

Why Norway first? Did someone find an outstanding song in MGP?

And Spain was 2nd..... until we chose Ruth. We're so clever, oh yeah....

Agreed, the markets should only be opened after all the songs are revealed.

I think those odds probably consider who the favourite is in the national selection and are based off that. It's kind of an 'A = B, B = C, so A = C' sort of thing - Norway is likely to choose Silent Storm, and Silent Storm is likely to do well in Eurovision, so Norway is likely to do well in Eurovision. ParadiseES mentioned another example with Spain - they were high up in the odds with Mas, which was expected to win in Spain and do well in Copenhagen, but when the Spanish song ended up as Dancing in the Rain, that changed.

And what's your problem with that? There are people willing to bet on Eurovision before all songs are selected and I don't see how that's of any concern to you.

The word Scandinavium just sounds so beautiful :)

It's probably the element successful ESC entries are made of

I don't think there will be a nordic winner this year.

I love Scandinavia more than the next person but I do hope we have a winner from elsewhere in Europe this year.
