I don't really know what to say and how to behave in such situations,
the reality is so shockingly tragic, that it's far beyond my comprehension....

But I will just say what's on my heart.

You definitely know, that musically I've been close with you, Alex. We've been in the same pot for ages, we have similar favorite styles, and in general we love the same music. Again and again, we give the highest points to the same masterpieces. Countless times I awarded you with points, being amazed by your entries.
I still listen to so many of them on repeat in my player. And each time I was looking forward to hear another masterpiece of yours.

Your music taste is unique and so rare for online contests.

I will never forget the fact, that you are one of only two people who gave 12 to Arcane Roots - my personal #1 of all the Rahasian entries.

During those ≈10 years we've spent in the same contest, we didn't communicate much.... but the fact that you're an amazing person is so clear to me, just based on that experience. Your kindness and responsiveness are hard not to notice.
And your endless dedication to NSC is just undoubtable. Thank you for being a responsible participant and host, and a genuinely valuable community member.
