Yes, top lists are very of the moment. Carrie I believe started the craze, with lavieenrose following on. As soon as I started creating the list this afternoon, I just knew your entries would be there right near the top. I doubt that Olafur song will ever be topped

Ricki was actually my second sacrifice to reach a round 50. I did write her down when making the list. Ricki is a star but I wanted to show some love to Adrian's Paulini, especially as you already have two super hits there in the form of Karen Harding and Cheryl

Hey Rainy, I just realized that I had actually heard Antony's "Hope There's Someone" long before you sent it to WV! It was played during a segment in one of the episodes of the Swedish version of the "Supersizers Go...Regency". A part of the episode was dedicated to child burials and the fact that so many parents lost their children and had to bury them in the early 1800s, and Hope There's Someone was played during this segment!

It probably is the most well known piece of music I have sent thus far, perhaps equal with "Femme Fatale". Antony's 2005 release "I Am a Bird Now" was the surprise winner of a yearly competition for album releases from our country called The Mercury Prize. The band were complete unknowns at the time. "Hope There's Someone" was performed at the award show and has become her signature tune since then. I knew that Kris was already besotted with Antony and owned her cd's. Antony's 5th place finish at WV and The Velvet Underground & Nico reaching the final.. those two things have meant a lot to me.
