I hate to bring it up, but Rehi Kaita is more or less an alternate version of Ugaly 232.

For the record I don't personally mind if it competes, it can arguably pass the sample rule or simply be considered two different songs based on the same motif (which is very common in video game soundtracks), but it should probably be addressed.

And I unfortunately need to bring one more up. :( Strenci's entry is the original of Bezzulandia 30 (Dario G - Dream To Me was a cover of Dreams). The lyrics are different, but apart from that it's the same song in a different genre.

I have just listened to both versions, and it is clear that one song is a cover of the other, and it is against the rules to send another version of a song that had already competed in NSC.

Both the Grand Duchy of Stenci (10) and Rehi Kaita (13) have submitted their replacement entries. The SF 2 playlist has been updated to reflect the changes. Therefore, the voting for SF 2 resumes.

I just noticed, it's not a massive issue but the numbering for this semi is off from New Acadia onwards (both Strenchi and New Acadia are numbered 10)

Introducing a new feature of the recap generator... automatic clip selection!

The recap generator now attempts to detect choruses within each song and will automatically select the best clip based on this.

Here's an example of its handiwork in the form of a precap:


For songs with a non-traditional structure the recap generator will generally fail to find a chorus and the user will have to specify a clip manually. However, this is relatively uncommon - this happened with only 7/55 songs this edition (see if you can guess which ones :p).

P.S. The semi recaps will be coming tomorrow morning, I just need to make sure there aren't any errors and then upload them!

Just as a heads up, I didn't get any notification about this mention. I think you need to type each member username manually after the @ for them to work.
