This time the deadline was clear and correctly-stated, it’s not my problem if people don’t send their votes on time.

Yes, I won't speak for others, but I would like to speak for myself, that it's 100% my fault I didn't vote on time, even though it so happened that I stayed late at work and forgot completely about the NSC existence, there was no single chance I'd remember to vote. Not that I remembered but decided to do it later
So, apparently it's such a fate

And the host's reasons not to accept any votes after the deadline are totally understandable too.

On behalf of STVRU, we would like to apologize for that incident.

Btw...

I always imagined that instead of just putting last those who didn't vote, we would make "artificial" points out of maybe 3-5 nations' points with highest similarity to the one that didn't vote. Just like EBU does
And we also could use another sanction, like... evil dot, or so. At least, that way the entries would +- remain on their positions and others who voted for it won't feel like their points are just wasted

It's not a serious suggestion though, because I doubt anyone but me would like to see such a method of dealing with late voters in action... But I just wanted to share my thoughts
