Hello everyone! Welcome to the SF results show thread!
Here's the explanation of our system, please get familiar with it beforehand.
Each time you're given a chess riddle. All you need to do is to make only one move to checkmate, i.e. to end & win the game.
Plus each time several nation figures are presented above the chessboard (some black figures and some white ones).
As a result, all the presented nation figures above will be matched with the pieces on the chessboard below.
Following the right solution of a chess riddle, one of the nation figures will make it to the finals and one of them will be eliminated.
The nation figure, which eventually matches with the winning king, will make it to the finals.
The nation figure, which eventually matches with the losing king, will be eliminated.
Remember: black nation figures will be matched with black chess pieces, and white nation figures will be matched with white ones!
So, if you solve the riddle right first, you'll definitely get to know which nations above have a chance to make it to the grand final and which ones are in danger of elimination, judging by their colour!
Now you can see our first chess riddle below!
And also you see white nation figures (Hypjø, Arirang and Calypso) and black ones (Rahasia-Diati, Redwood Republic, Riya-Sampetrina), above the chessboard. They are all participants/voters from semi 2. It's still unknown with which chess pieces below they will eventually match. It's only shown which of them are white, and which are black.
Remember, you need to make only one move to checkmate!
Who is who? Who's the winning king? Who's the losing one?
