I'd love to see them there, even if it is just as an interval-act thing.

Amazing: we've got some REAL news about Liechtenstein!

As 1FLTV is no longer interested getting into EBU, the radio-only broadcaster Radio Liechtenstein wants to try its luck.
Eurovoix reports (based on Liechtensteiner Vaterland) that "Radio Liechtenstein is in the process of applying for membership of the European Broadcasting Union. According to the report, the aim of EBU membership is to enable participation in the Eurovision Song Contest".
It's still tumultuous and unlikely but maybe, MAYBE, (no Valentina please stop), we'll have a new participating country in the coming years! >> REPORT <<

Even if they can be member of EBU, it's impossible to take part in Eurovision, because it's a TV show, and they have to show it.

Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t a participation need a tv channel?

Radio Liechtenstein has launched a discussion about a possible future participation of Liechtenstein in the Eurovision Song Contest ESC with a possible accession to the European Broadcasting Union EBU.

Liechtenstein band "Noops" would be ready for this and sees a possible participation in the ESC as a catapult for their music career.

Indeed, but it doesn't seem to be set in stone. Let's say a radio-only channel never participated in Eurovision yet... But who knows what may happen?
1957 and 1964 only have radio audio if I’m not wrong. So technically it is possible but… I think it’s quite easy for Liechtenstein to join the ebu with a tv channel. RTL runs there doesn’t it? Same as Germany, Luxembourg, etc. surely it’s not difficult for the Liechtenstein branch to join too?
