HELP! How to watch Eurovision in the US?

Hello! My sister now is in the US, and she said that it is impossible to watch Eurovision there because of the geo-restriction. I found this article https://medium.com/@grant.cerr/how-to-watch-eurovision-in-the-us-2019-free-705712ed0ab4 and it seems that the only solution is a VPN. Maybe someone knows is that true? Does she really need it or there is another way?

Unfortunately no if you try to watch it from the US, all you can see is 'This video is not available in your country.'

You could probably try searching online for streams of channels in different countries. The only other option is to go with a VPN i'm afraid.

in 2017 when the stream was blocked to Brazil I watched it in the swedish broadcaster

i dont know if watching via opera would work as it has a vpn (when i want to watch anything from 2016 i go there, but im not sure if it works when the video is live)
