There's a big chance that we'll withdraw. Yes, we hear that almost every year but now the situtation is serious. Economy is extremely bad and this year we barely made it (preselection and stuff). I mean it took so much time to get some solid info about our preselection process. Eurovision is the last thing we think about right now.
Besides, in one year things will get worse. Difinitely NOT better...

Why do you think so? Greece always sends awesome songs for Eurovision. And really succesful about that. In my opinion, Greece should follow this way.

I highly doubt that Greece will ever withdraw from ESC, even if the sky falls down! Maybe with even less budget, but Greece will be there next year!

^With a song like this!!!!! Starts down tempo, from the middle of the song onward it gets rock! Something like FYROM's entry this year!

If they really do participate next year, let Velvet Fire do the job. They didn't qualify this year, even though they had the only somewhat interesting song.

Oh no... There are much better young artists and bands than them! Of course among the 4 candidates this year they would be a good option, but next year another record company might take the responsibility of covering the expenses, and we can have some other young and fresh artists. Some showed willingness to participate in ESC, and a good example is Nicko. Although next year I want something down tempo with folk influences, and in Greek. Why Serbians send songs in their language, with their traditional sounds, and Greeks only want to send funfair songs in English? I just don't get it...

I think he would be nice to see in Eurovision, but still i think Velvet Fire has more to offer than we saw this year

1) No Martakis please! He will just offer a Sakis copy ethnic dance pop song, nothing more.
2) Despina Vandi would never participate in ESC. If she would do ESC, she'd already have done it. Now she's quite old for a "show" or something like this. Plus, her style is ethnic/folk pop so, again, nothing new.
My alternative choices are Nikos Vertis and Peggy Zina. Although they are both "big names" and I am sure that no big name will be sent by Greece in the following years. From the ones mentioned, only Nicko would be a possibility, he's quite famous, I mean, his songs are hits, but he's not established and he also mentioned in an interview that he wants to do Eurovision in order to help him with an international career.
Don't search any other big names, search some new faces, from talent shows or relatively new acts, not so established.
