So it will be 36 this year?
It really depends on 3 things, imo:
- the EBU's reaction to the song
- how Georgians/Georgian fans will react
- if the broadcaster really pushes this through (even though it will be getting backlash)
We just heard a tiny part of the potential song "Dream" - I don't think it's on the same level like Belarus mocking the protestors and Ukrainians back in 2022.
If other parts are worse, the EBU will probably give Georgia's broadcaster some time to change the song - if they don't follow their guidelines or hand in other propaganda song mocking Georgians fight for freedom, dignity; there won't be much time left and they will probably be banned or withdraw.
It will be a shame - but I prefer losing a broadcaster which is mocking the contest/its own people/homophobic than having to deal with their entries and comments throughout ESC editions... That's also why I don't need to see TRT (

) or MTVA (

) back right now even though I deeply miss Hungary and Turkey in the competition.
