Hi guys! I am a new member on this forum. I'm from Rotterdam and I'm a fan of the Eurovision Songcontest. I think it's fantastic that the Eurovision is coming to 'my' city, very hyped.

So therefore I've made a song to welcome Eurovision fans to Rotterdam! Open Up! :-) I posted the acoustic version of the song in the General discussion thread, and then some (very kind) members enjoyed it and encouraged me to make a thread about the song.

If some if you would find enjoyment in getting your voice on the official track of Open Up, you actually can! I am currently gathering enthousiastic Eurovision fans to sing along with the song. All voices are welcome! It also doesn't matter if you think you can sing or not. If you're interested and want to see how it works, see the video's in this post.

The original plan was to gather voices untill sunday, but I might be able to expand that deadline a bit..

For the music video, we want to show that Rotterdam is a city that connects all the other countries that participate in the Eurovision Song Contest. Therefore, we are looking for enthusiastic people from the participating countries (you!!)! We will film you outside on the Erasmusbridge in Rotterdam. You can stand, lypsinc, shout, dance, or just smile. The filming will take ~30 minutes on the 5th between 11:00 and 13:00. We will film according to the official covid protocols. If you are interested to shine in this music video and represent your country, please send an email with your name + country to openup@guusbok.com. Also, if you have any special abilities, let us know! All people are welcome, the more diverse the better.
