I also usually hold 6 song-NFs and I have the voting format of 12 - 09 - 06 - 04 - 02 - 00.

That way the top 3 songs have a slightly bigger gap over one another than the last 3. IMO, it makes sense to do it this way because those songs are the ones that people liked the most. Just saying since you asked. I guess it won't make that much of a difference anyway.
