sent their best entry in 2012 (and it would have qualified if we had the same televoting-only semis back then). 2013 was fun too and again, Bulgaria would have qualified.

Maybe some "old Bulgaria" is exactly what the contest needs right now.

If we're talking about the same team, I can add that singer Mila Robert was also in that team if that's any indication for anything.

Mila Robert is pretty much a newer artist, makes fresh, fun music and is pro lgbt. Would be a great candidate imo.

I really don't know what to predict for them next year, because they are unpredictable.

There is information that Bulgaria will switch its broadcasters and BNR will take over instead of BNT. However, there are some details to figure out with the EBU. Seems the Bulgarian participation is far more likely than anytime in the past years.

I really miss - personally, I think that they have stepped up their game massively (minus whatever it was back in 2022) - and I also loved their "chaotic but authentic" early 00's era!

Also, the current system should actually benefit since they would have (rightfully) qualified back in 2012 and 2013 - fck juries in semis.

I heard they said it applied to schools, but everything about this law was quite vague... Anyway, it shows a general tendency that might quickly be reflected in similar arguments to those we got from Hungary and Turkey.
