It's not a strong entry, or a great entry. But it's good! I'm giving it 5 points for now, with the chance of growing when it's on the stage

lol this already grew on me because a) as budget sweden as this is, it does NOT have a tropical house dit-dit-dit break and has an actual chorus, and most importantly b) since when was i able to resist nonsensical english lyrics? I'LL NEVER STO O O O OP LUNA MOON ME UP TO THE TO O OP

raising cross my heart (i am NOT doing the X.) to 7 in the poll xheart

For those who complain about azeri lyrics,
there is a rumour about that:
The original song was a bilingual ballad with ethnic elements. They changed their minds literally the last minute.

Now that was a terrible decision to make...:?
Such a waste of a good singer...this song sounds so bland and generic, i just can't. And what infuriates me the most is that our jury, which will most likely be consisted of Kontopoulos' friends and/or collaborators, will probably give this 12 or 10 in the semi and in the final in case it qualifies.

Worst.
Entry.
Ever.

Azerbaijan failing to qualify in 3, 2, 1...

I really can’t see the point of choosing a jazz singer and then give her this.

Can’t we just go back to these golden days:

It's beyond me that it's the same composer that wrote this as "X My Heart"...

They could still change, and they should, if you're gonna send something like this you might as well not participate at all. If they still go with this, i hope they fail to make the final for the first time, that will show 'em!

I wish so many countries this year would change their songs, but why should they change this when it's already one of the best?!

Exactly! The only reason I can see for this to be happening is that Azerbaijan is lowering their budget to eurovision.
“When the music dies” is a true gem with Azerbaijan flavor.
“X my heart” it’s pure nonessential.

After this revelation "Falling stars" by Lidia Isac instantly became a masterpiece.

They hyped up the wonderful artist and the magical songwriting team and now we get some cheap Lidl version of schlager??

I really hope Azerbaijan doesn't qualify with this muck

I have no idea..
But hey.. this time they try something for the first time in their eurovision history -uptempo pop song-
Ethnic ballad would be something that they have done in the past.

Did Azerbaijan lose all confidence with their ballads because Dilara was screwed by her own team?? I'm kinda a sucker for ethnic ballads from Azerbaijan...
