Wow, after their great song last year, this song is maybe their worst entry so far. Although I hated Drip Drop a lot.

I find it quite amusing that a song like Ukraine is seemingly universally praised (the most generic bland, flat song imaginable) and this is ripped to ss for being generic
This absolutely crushes that, and most of the songs in the competition so far

I don't think it is fair to call the Ukrainian song generic and bland, as it it composed by the young singer Melovin himself. He represents his own song. The song is quite edgy tbh.

Aisel gets to represent a song that has nothing to do with her, is generic af, from songwriters who compose by the book for a living.

I have my doubts about this song making the Final. As it is, it is a song that is just there. She would have to perform her heart out for this to make the Final. 7 points

I really can’t see the point of choosing a jazz singer and then give her this.

I resisted the urge to give automatic NUL points for writing "X My Heart" instead of "Cross My Heart". Nice song though, especially the chorus - I bet it will sound great in the arena. 10 points for Azerbaijan.

I can‘t say I hate it. It is a generic pop song that could represent us even back in 2008. I find it pity that the talent of this lady is wasted with such a cheap entry. Judging by her carrer and what she has sung so far, Aisel deserved a better song. Id rather prefer to hear a jazzy song in Azerbaijani with some ethnc elements. That would really stand out. 5 points from me

This could be as well in Maltese NF and win there but not qualify on ESC. Fine, I'd give it 7 but it won't be in my Top-10. If they make good staging and Aisel delivers it live then it can finally break curse of failures that started in 2014.

That might actually be. I am so not sure, I heard that song a few times before, but its like the song exists of so many already produced songs, I cannot really tell why But yeah, I still enjoy it somewhat!
