There's not much to the song so I think the chances of it qualifying are VERY dependent on the staging. If the staging is dull it could easily NQ. If the staging makes it stand out and people remember it then it'll Q. I guess I am saying that it doesn't have a 'safe' path to the final compared to some of the others, but if they get the staging right it'll make it.

Yeah, i was thinking it's not really safe and i can see it not qualifying. Then i looked at the songs in this semi and they're all quite samefaced. It should make it. The children will love it, unless the staging is too sexualized.

After listening to it many times (on repeat after a few) I’ve really come around on this. I think I was shocked initially because it’s so in-your-face from the first second. In fact I reacted even before hearing the whole thing. Maybe I like to be warmed up a little before being pounded with hyper-sexuality. But It’s fun and very Eurovision and an easy qualifier I think. I’ve only heard a few other songs so far though so maybe it’s a really tough year.

The film clip is a pretty epic production. The ending was kind of like a fever dream with a lot of layered synths in the music too. And he seems like a really nice cool guy and very Aussie in a video I saw of him speaking.

Hope so. Top 10 would be great.

This is still my #1 this year. The staging just needs to be fun, maybe a little sexual too for the adults. ;) But not if it only caters for the straights. :LOL:
