10 points. Could improve to 12 with a revamp, but knowing their record of revamps, I'll be giving it a 3 by March.

Strong start to the season. Here's to ESC 2019 being better than the trash from this year!

THE GOOD:
-The instrumentals are definitely the highlight here.
-The vocals match up really well.

THE BAD:
-The song tends to drag on-and-on a bit, especially before the first pre-chorus.
-The song didn't really send chills down my spine, but this is a minor nitpick.

THE VERDICT:

This is a very good song from Albania. It's got a good and strong idea of what it wants to be. I hope that they don't do too much to the song in the revamp. There's a lot of pressure in being the first to introduce your song to the world, but Albania has a good song here. 8 points

Nice instrumentals and strong vocals (yay for good live singers :D) overall not the greatest song tho.

Stage presentation is gonna be interesting with this one

Good choice in the end. Soni/Artemisa/Eranda were all very likely gonna end in my top 10 but this song is quite nice as well, so disaster avoided. A bit too tryhardish for me, and the live performance was kinda dissapointing tbh otherwise fine. ^^

Ima give it 6 pts

I wasn't feeling the winning song in the studio version, but the Albanian orchestra (as ever) were awesome and really lifted the song up high. My problem with the studio version was it left me feeling kind of cold during huge chunks of it (too icy), but on stage it's a spectacle, and the verses have more atmosphere. Just overall it's better. I could actually connect. Her vocals perhaps aren't as strong, but the little struggles give it more of a human touch that I don't mind. It's a very Albanian choice for sure. I was really hesitant with Ktheju tokës as I thought there were multiple better songs in the selection. I can totally see why it won though, and it's quite quickly growing on me. Maybe that curtain dress helped as I do like a bit of Albanian couture (I was getting flashbacks to 2012). I like the way Jonida performs the song with those hypnotic movements. The only thing i'd say is that it needs to be stronger in the closing moments. Each live performance I feel like the energy fades towards the end. Otherwise it's great and I was wrong to throw this very Albanian sounding song so quickly under the bus (actually I don't think I was too horrible, just more like "gee... I don't know about this"). Anyway, go slay it my fave Eurovision countryxheart Fik was top notch as usual, even with the sound guy playing pranks.

A moment of silence though for Artemisa & Febi. With all respect to Dilan because I loved his song and it gave me life, but Dilan 4th and Artemisa & Febi 14th out of 14......? Four songs I loved in this final and Karma by far came highest of them. I don't understand Albanians sometimes, but oh well.

I'm curious to see your score...or are you waiting until the revamp?

I was actually thinking i'd wait until the revamp as i'm still feeling kinda mixed with it, though swaying towards more positive feelings overall. I'd give probably a 6 or 7 for now. I'll be kind and go 7 with the live performance in mind.

Compared to last year, the song itself is rather weak, but the best choice from this year's selection. But whereas I could feel fire for Eugent's performance, something is lacking here. I give it a good 8 points for now. The song could grow on me, but could also go the other way down. Let's see.

It is not Albanians, it is good old corrupted jury of FiK (RTSH)! LOL

And this entry is about Albanian diaspora, I really don't ike that theme in ESC and I hope it won't attract only diaspora points. :/

Lidia was so much better, in all ways! :( She was 2nd..

I sometimes think that FiK jury consists of 70+ persons who worked at RTSH !

The same was for Macedonian NFs when they used to organize "festivals"..

Re: ALBANIA 2019

Imagine if we had a landslide winner at this point that was not reachable? This whole suspenseful interval act thing would have been for nothing. "You've basically won but now let me sing for everyone for a few minutes".

I would've lived

Jonida's song was very popular with the Albanian public as well. I think she would have done very well in a televote as well, and a lot of younger ESC fans like it too. Just because you disagree with the result, doesn't mean a bunch of 70 year old men are responsible. Rona Nishliu gave it her top points.

A good winner, not really blown away by it but it's a solid song. 7/10

And so what...I see pointless screaming in both entries..

I just hope they won't translate this into English and put some pathetic lyrics about diaspora.. xfaint

However they won't qualify, like Aurela Gace didn't,...

At least Aurela Gace had character and I liked vocals, also electric guitar..

This has "flop" written all over it,...it is 41st at betting odds and

Regarding corrupted FiK jury...well i better stop here.. I'm from Balkans, i know better than you for sure..

And I can't believe I still go on your nerves that much, after all those years!!

Well, unless it gets translated to English (which I pray to god it won't) I don't think there's going to be many people voting for it on the message alone (how strong is the Albanian diaspora vote at Eurovision anyway?). I think the piece of music itself and the way the song is delivered will be enough to interest people.

Very strong...almost always Albania gets from the same countries high points, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden (the same goes for Serbia) where A LOT of Albanians live..but all right, i also think this will be murdered and stay in semis..
