Papendink consists out of two regions: Paperland and INK. The INK-Part of the country is a long forgotten territory in the desert. Because of that Paperland participated solely for over 15 years untill a Paperian delegation to Rumia (bringing the band Haggard back home from their participation in a Paperian NF) found CampA (Capital Campside of INK) in the desert....

About Paperland:
Paperland is a country where nearly all is out of paper. It has a population of nearly one million. The Capital City is Karton and has a population of 3'267. Neighbouring, Filefold City (the only big city of Paperland) is be located with a population of 761'254. The mostcitizens (nearly 70%) of Filefold City works for the General National Administration (G.N.A).

History
Before the invention of a impregnation-spray, Paperland was one of the poorest lands in the NSC world, because of innummerous and disastrous fires which rage in it and in the past, the neanderthals was really hated by the Paperians, because they where hold responsible for the invention of fire (this was certainly a failure, they only discovered it).

Since then, Paperland grows to a very wealthy state and also a new age of culture began. As a consequence of this, initiating intereset of a participation on the Nation Song Contest is awakened and Paperland applied for it.

About INK:
INK was a long forgotten territory of our country and now united again with us under the new nation name Papendink. It is a region of a big desert with one river flowing trough, the river Shwartz where the sweetwater octopuses lives, the source for ink, the main export product of the region.

Against fire, we've invented a impregnation spray :D

But rain is still a problem... but fortunately, it does not often raining in Paperland, only one week (at a stretch) per Year. Then we don't really beef with it, we only wait untill it ends and rebuild our houses. :mrgreen: However, our scientist works on a solution, cause it's very expensiv to do this every year.

No, the people arent, and we also dont eat paper. We have to import our food from outside our country trough our Airport, the only place in Paperland where not all is out of paper, the pists are out of concrete, so that paperlanes and normal airplanes both can land :)
