    Re: Football: domestic leagues

Eric Djemba-Djemba the ex-player of Manchester United is a new player of Partizan!

This is a first "transfer bomb" in Partizan this summer. Djemba Djemba is coming to Belgrade tomorrow, and if he passes the medicinal exams, he will sign a two-year contract with Partizan

Djemba Djemba: "Partizan is the biggest club in Serbia"

And Milan Obradović signed the contract with Partizan today, so we got a great and experienced reinforcement in the defense

    Re: Football: domestic leagues

Steaua delivered a big shock on the transfer market yesterday!

We bought Adrian Cristea who was the former captain of our rivals, Dinamo Bucharest and one of the biggest talent that Dinamo had. This spring he played for Standard Liege (on loan from Petrolul Ploiesti) and when his loan expired he was fired by Petrolul Ploiesti so he came as a free agent.

Vålerenga celebrated their 100th birthday on Monday, and I drove for 7 hours to get to Oslo (and I came back home today). Totally worth it. I took part in a parade thru downtown Oslo, and later in the evening, Enga won 5-3 against Sarpsborg 08.

    Re: Football: domestic leagues

The thing it's geting hilarious in Liga 1. After two rounds where played the Swiss football court decided that Rapid Bucharest must be relegated to Liga 2 and Concordia Chiajna should take their place. All the results Rapid had this season where canceled so SC Vaslui lost 3 points, while Viitorul Constanta lost 1 point, and both teams will play against Concordia Chiajna in november. Also, Steaua Bucharest, that had to play against Rapid Bucharest tomorow, won't play, so it reamis to play a match against Concordia Chiajna sometimes in December or March.

Here is the new table in Liga 1:

    1. Otelul Galati 6
    2. Pandurii Targu Jiu 4
    3. ACS Poli Timisoara 4
    4. Sageata Navodari 4
    5. Petrolul Ploiesti 4
    6. FC Botosani 4
    7. Astra Giurgiu 3 (1 game)
    8. Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt 3
    9. Steaua Bucharest 3 (1 game)
    10. Dinamo Bucharest 3
    11. CFR Cluj 2
    12. FC Brasov 1
    13. Concordia Chiajna 0 (0 games)
    14. "U" Cluj 0
    15. Gaz Metan Medias 0
    16. SC Vaslui 0 (1 game)
    17. Corona Brasov 0
    18. Viitorul Constanta 0 (1 game)

    Re: Football: domestic leagues

Serbian "Jelen Superliga" is starting next Saturday, although we are going to lose one club

Hajduk Kula no longer exists The club was shutdown two days ago, after the president Osmajić left it and after all club organs disbanded They had a 2 000 000 EUR of debts + the carrying charges. They could no longer function and the club was shutdown.

Hajduk has been in the Superliga for 20 years and was a solid club, and it just saddens me how one story ends like this. Some clubs like Crvena Zvezda have 60 000 000 EUR of debts, and nobody touches them, they are not relegated, nothing, they are bringing players like they have no debts at all

Where is the country now, to help Hajduk like they are throwing money in Zvezda? Ah yes, I forgot, Zvezda is a "pillar of Serbia", "the national treasure" and "the club that ONLY the real Serbs support". Hajduk isn't, so may he shutdown, who cares........

    RIP Hajduk Kula
