I went from having no idea who Alban was to immediately looking up his discography after listening to his incredible vocals and seeing how charismatic a performer he was at the FiK final this year .

Them ditching FiK is not happening, not for at least another year. I saw adverts for FiK 57 already going on during the Eurovision 2018 Semi 1.
Anyway, I'm not sure whether do I trust coincidences anymore but I am guessing Albania will have their entry translated because I honestly don't wanna watch FiK 57 tbh... :') I really hope you guys choose another great song that ends up not underestimated. Paç fat Shqipëria!

I hope they'll go for something uptempo, they CLEARLY have the potential bringing a great uptempo banger. Carry Me In Your Dreams and S'te fal is two masterpieces and the latter could've been AMAZING if it just got to the revamping stage. It doesn't feel like the FiK-jury will go for something like that though if the average age isn't lowered by 20 years

Irkenc Hyka is one of the rising stars in Albania, and one can only dream that he will participate in FiK. Not only his songs are doing great right now in the Albanian industry, he has produced some awesome songs for other artist.

FiK is obviously still going to exist. it just, you know, should not be used as their eurovision selection lol. juries loving mall was entirely deserved but also entitely unpredictable. they can't count on them loving the next FiK winner. KENGA MAGJIKE AS THE SELECTION PLEASE.

I see no problem with Albania using FIK! FIK is very traditional and has created legends that are now the "Elite" in Albanian scene!
I really hope they send Redon Makashi! Beautiful voice, beautiful writer, beautiful composer and just a beautiful man! He could be the only one to win it for Albania!

I agree,FiK brings out the best artists etc.I think what needs to happen is for them to select a more balanced line up.If you look at Sanremo you get some of the most contemporary acts in the country (and the most talented of them) and also acts from across the ages and spectrum.The podium then usually goes to the televote winner,the jury winner and the surprise package.Then people vote again.I think Fik could consider that as well.A podium top three then re-open the voting.

Interesting list this.One im looking forward to is Klodiana Vata (shes confirmed shes in so the list must be genuine).One to watch for a darkhorse is MIRUD.He has very good connections like Elhaida Dani and Florent Boshnjaku who wrote Suus and know how to win this sort of event and likely record company backing as well.If he has a good song and can handle the Fik orchestra and pressure he should be a big challenger and might be one the producers will want.
A lot of older diva's as well with big fan bases in the past,so if one has a good song could also challenge,but more likely making the numbers up.
