A great year that was really hard to rank. I love my top 10 practically equally, so this was painful. And there's really only one song I can't stand this year, so good job 1994!

My review on 1994 - Dublin, Ireland

1994 is definitely one of my favourite ESCs ever so far. I love every single thing about it.

Dublin did a much better job than Milstreet. Lots of new countries, which was exciting. The hosts were sweet and funny, I really loved them. I'm also in love with the stage: it's one of the best, if not THE best stage ever in my opinion. I dunno why I love it so much. It's so fancy, I get the vibe all the artists gave a live concert in the streets of New York. It's really cool and artsy!

Songwise I had a lot of favourites this evening, I almost love every single song except for Sweden which I thought was an annoying copy of Norway's entry the same year which was my favourite. Though my "most" favourite song didn't win, I like the Rock'n roll kids. I remember being pleased. There were modern uptempo songs, ballads, great voices, a lovely range of music styles.

And who doesn't love the interval act? Do I really have to say something about Riverdance? One of my top 3 interval acts so far.

Worthy winner? I think so. There were quite a few songs who deserved 1st place as well. To me, Norway must have had won that year. Jan and Elisabeth have outstanding voices. This was such a powerful performance and a great song! RIP Jan! :'-(

Most underrated songs: Finland! This is a bummer. The girls in their matching outfit were actually quite nice and they had a decent uptempo song. Also France did a great job with their artistic (music- and stagewise) appearance, I love it so much! Since Slovakia had a bunch a great songs in the 90s I also feel it had often been disqualified undeservingly.
