I watched parts of the final of Ranina 2023 out of curiousity. It felt like a time wrap. Everything looked like it could have been from the 1950s, from the music they sang to the dresses, hairstyles and attitudes of everyone involved. Got strong strict-music- conservatory-vibes from it. Really bizzare.

I guess you haven't watched the episode in which the contestants were dressed in traditional clothing and were singing with a traditional men's ensemble. Below is a video of Anastasia performing "Adjarian Joke" with Shavnabada, the men's ensemble. That song transports me much further back in time than the 1950s.

Ranina 2022 finalists Oto Bazerashvili and Nikoloz Kharati will join Anastasia on stage. Georgia is sending a group of performers.

The trio will be known as Anastasia & Ranina. The song that they will be performing is entitled "Over the Sky," which will be released on Sunday, October 15.
