I don't know...KIKA seems a bit clueless about what to do with it, trying to copy the pseudo-sentimental-emo-singer-singerwriter-stuff that charted a decade ago and adapted it for the last two entries that failed. I really think Pauline had a great charisma so the selection of the singer worked to me but our two songs were snoozefests and deservdly placed low.

Ah well, here we go again with a bland german singer-songwriter-piece that doesn't excite me in the slightest. She may get some sympathy votes for the performance but it seems KIKA is as driven as NDR when it comes to succeed on international level.

This is a perfect choice for Germany! It is such a simple pop song, but oh so well made, getting goosebumps already from the snippet. Yes it is generic (here we go again with fans turning into pophaters), but a good song is a good song. And it is a simple message that people will like and understand despite it being in German. This SHOULD do well, if not the quality of this year gets insanely good.

Personally, I think it sounds alright - I'm still not keen on hearing kids sing but dunno, I think it's our best JESC entry yet and unlike the other songs, it doesn't sound dead upon arrival?
