Firstly my comment was directed at making fun of him because of his problems in his private life

Secondly, yes - domestic abuse must not be a taboo. Awareness has to be raised, people must be held accountable.

which brings me to thirdly:
People must be held accountable by judges and courts NOT by the internet mob. Noone knows exactly what happened. I don‘t know his wife, I don’t know him. I am not entitled to have an opinion on neither the people nor the events in question.
So if so many people seem to have forgotton the fundamental bases of any fair trial (not guilty until proven guilty), why not at least try a tiktok trend: we listen, but we don’t judge.

Well - I wasn't a fan of Mans but wasn't expecting this! All quite shocking.

For balance I do want to hear his side of the story. I don't think he's commented yet.

I am happy to everyone involved, especially for Måns himself, that he didn't win MF this year. If this was going to be kept a secret a few more months and this was blowing up while he was in Basel, this would have been a storm which could end really really badly. Whatever is true or not, this would have been a even worse situation than Charlotte Perellis in 2008, being one of the faves to win and a week or two before getting to Belgrade finding her husband was cheating. One of the reasons why she looked strange and didn't work live in ESC. Having a singer that goes through something this extreme while being the normal pressure of competing in ESC would have been the worst scandal in Swedish Eurovision-history.

So yeah, I hope for Måns, Ciara and their childrens sake that everything will turn alright.

This. And also for men living with abusive partners too. Anyone experiencing abuse deserve to get away from it and live their lives feeling safe and happy.

I was never a big fan of Måns or his music, didn't care much for him, and hearing this has made me truly dislike him. Of course I can't know if everything is true, but having experienced the awful feeling of not being believed when opening up about such things, I will always believe the victims until proven otherwise (or there are legitimate reasons to be sceptical). Not being believed when being that vulnerable about such a serious situation almost hurts more than the actual abuse.

Nice to hear, would be good for the UK listeners if the british radiostations were more interested in music from outside the angloamerican sphere so that the listeners doesnt miss good music wherever it comes from.

I bet I will hear the song being blasted at the parking lot by the gas station in the town where I live when the norwegian "raggare" and "russ" starts partying there in the weekends again at 2 in the night in not too long if the weather stays this good. They kept me awake with "Cha Cha Cha" and they will probably keep me awake with SAUNA! Gonna keep you posted
