Do you think Piers Morgan can be persuaded to start liking the contest if UK delivers some good songs during the coming years?

What kind of music does he like btw?

I don't know how to feel about this entry .... it is not that bad actually. It instantly reminded me of Queen. I like it a lot more than any of the recent UK-entries tbh. I like the harmonies and the changes within the song. But I am uncertain about how far this will go in May.
:7: for now, but I even might upgrade it!

Sounds like they tried to put a bit of everything from their favorite songs from Queen and Meghan Trainor into their entry.

"I want to shave my head, oh, I paint the whole town red, oh, I want to kiss a stranger"

We were so close yet so far from the "I want a cucumber" fake AI leak. It's not fair. Next year.

I see clear ‘Jade - Angel of my dreams’ inspirations here.
Overall a huge downgrade after Dizzy…
Sounds like pre-2022 era UK.

The positive - this sounds like it was written to be a live song.

The negative - it's giving me enormous anxiety as it's trying to be 50 songs at once.

I have no idea what to think. Would love to see a live performance from the girls to see how they can deliver this live, but I guess at least it isn't forgettable... That is either a good or bad thing I guess!

I've been ruminating about what I truly think of the song while at work tonight, and i've come to the decision that if this was another countries entry I wouldn't have much positive to say at all other than they have killer harmonies and props to the BBC for going something that isn't basic cookie cutter midtempo. It's a risk, and I really hope it's one of them songs that pops live (Sam Ryders song I didn't like either in studio) but in its studio form I'm just not here for it at all. It's like it doesn't know what it wants to be, stopping and starting, speeding up and slowing down. Not only that I find the "What the hell just happened" line lowkey annoying, but that may be because it's been stuck in my head all day. I played it today at work to my colleagues and not a single person liked it. Olly, Mae and Sam all had people who liked their song from my work colleagues. Come for me by all means saying i'm being too harsh and negative about it, but it's my honest thoughts.

I really want to see this live, like in a proper studio with some assemblence of staging to get a real feel for it. It does seem like it could be something much better live than in studio.

Well, UK is not going to win this year. Other than that, no clue how this will do, all i know is that i personally don't want to listen to it again. (Tbf, there's rarely any esc songs i want to listen to again, once the contest is done i forget almost all of them.)

Great vocalists, but not a song for me at all.

I didn't like it from the leak yesterday and I still don't like it now. It its far too musical theatre-y for my liking. It's too all over the place as a song and I still am really struggling to latch onto any aspect of it. There's not a hook for me - something that songs need in my opinion which I feel that even if the live product was a flop, both Mae and Olly had right from the off.

What the Hell Just Happened? exists and just goes here, there and everywhere. I can't deny their talent, but as song, it's a no from me.

On vocal talent alone Remember Monday would get a big score and we're clearly going for the jury vote in May - which I hope succeeds - but as a whole song, it's only a 3️⃣ from me. I want them to do well and will show them my support. Just a shame I don't like the song.

This is the best UK-entry for me personally in quite a while! Maybe for ESC it won't be catchy enough and maybe won't work well, but this is one of the songs this year that I can listen to again and again.
I am happy that it doesn't have the Country-touch as I don't like this genre much. I hope that UK will be rewarded with a better place in May. :8: from me!

I had higher expectations when BBC released the reaction video and everyone was saying "This is so different!" :(

:4: but I have a feeling live performance will also ruin the little charm the song has.

This is just fantastic! Maybe it’s because I lived in England for a long time that I feel the British flavour in it, but honestly it’s the first entry this year that I can say I really like. In other circumstances I’d give it 10 points, but given how average this year is, I have no other option but to award it my first 12 of the season.
