No it's definitely an okay song. I just can't imagine it finishing in the top5. And with the talent that UK has at its disposal, they should be finishing top5 every single year. In terms of doing the least with the most, UK is probably the best.
I'm looking at the titles of the English language entries from the other countries. If Israel sent them, I can see it easily being interpreted as political as well.
How much time do we have left - obviously war related.
What the hell just happened? - war happened that's what.
Poison Cake -...
What the hell is happening with the UK's selection? They have such a massive talent pool to choose from, and so many talented musicians. Why are they sending these generic songs? Don't get me wrong, the vocals are great, the overall quality seems good, but I think UK could do infinitely better...
I don't really understand the Nemo comparisons? Huh?????????
The Code was wayyyyy more pop-like, energetic and very catchy as well. Meanwhile Wasted Love feels more like a balad/opera... I like both songs (aside from the ending in Wasted Love), but they're really not that similar. At all ;)

He should have a DJ station at the center of the stage. And the singer+dancers should pretend to be fans that have come to his concert to have fun. There'd be some concept there. Right now there really is none.
It's a crazy grower the more you listen to it. I assume the people who say they don't like it listened to it once and made their mind for good. I don't know if they're top5 material, but certainly a strong contender for the top10.
