Am amazed of the new meanings of words like „clone“. I thought that meant a 1:1 copy of something but it seems that nowadays it means something like „what on earth can I compare this with just to make a statement“.
Well language changes, I know that. But I think I stick to the original meaning.

this seems to be the only platform where this song is overrated to extremes

For me, I started liking it quite a lot (it was my second place when it was released), but I have to say I got tired of it quite soon. It’s too repetitive and clearly I see it underperform in the actual contest. I gave it a 8 but a 6 is more accurate at the moment.

Could have been me winner this year, song-wise, but the ending left me nowhere sadly. Like tavo what?! Jk me don't really mind it.

Rather in the Eurovision channel music video at 2:03-2:19 is a great build-up then it was dropped for nothing to build it up again, but in a subpar way. It's unfortunate to listen but still a great song though.

Could change me mind but 8 for now

When I saw the hype about this song, I found their live performance and listened to it, and thought: "I ought to like this, but I don't connect with it just yet, so I'll return some other day when my ears are ready for it." And I gave it a 5 based on that.

But now, when I listen to it again, I'm left with the same sentiment. I can't follow the melody, and the singer is off-key several times. Or is it all some kind of surreal act that's supposed to sound so elusive?

I'm downgrading to a 3, but the next step is to listen to a studio version to perhaps discover the concept behind the song.

Tavo Akys reminds me this British alternative rock song from 2003 that I like a lot, it's not that the melodies are similar but the effect on me is comparable and both are angsty, quite dark & sad and use some powerful vocals of a male vocalist. The Cooper Temple Clause is my favourite British rock band from 2000s I reckon but unfortunately very little people heard of them. And they disbanded in 2007, soon after releasing their 3rd album (which was quite underwhelming but their first two are very beautiful and absolutely stood the test of time.

The lyrics contain so much Tavo, but musically this is one of the best of this year and it has grown a lot on me

So basically what you're saying is that musically this is one of tavo favorites this year?

I enjoyed it for the first 40 seconds or so, then felt it didn't really go anywhere after that.
I have it in my predicted qualifiers list purely because it seems popular in the Scoreboard app, so maybe there's an audience for it.
