Hey guys! Since ESC 2015 is now over, I want to revive an idea we started last year which unfortunately didn’t last for long. This time I would like to change the format a little so that more people can participate. ESC LL Nostalgia will consist of watching all ESC editions from 1956 until 2015, all in one year!

How it will work: Every Sunday, starting from tomorrow at 21:00 CET (open for change), a Live Listening of the next ESC edition in line will take place. We will be watching the entire show, including introduction, songs, interval acts and results, and I can assure you it will be fun! The voting process this year will last for one week, and instead of having results right after the Live Listening, we will be posting the results one week later, right before starting the next edition’s LL. This change will hopefully allow people who are unable to join the Live Listening to listen to the show throughout the week and take part in the voting.

I am hoping this time we will manage to keep this alive from start to end!

#JoinUs for the first ESC LL Nostalgia 2015, tomorrow 31st May at 21:00 CET here: https://plug.dj/2ac0386b where we will watch the first 2 editions (1956 and 1957). Hope to see a lot of you there!

Renzo hasn't been joining us for the past few sessions (1969 was the last one I think?) , so currently it's me hosting them. I don't know if Renzo will come back, or do any of the past voting results.

We now also feel the shows are getting too long to watch two in one night, so for the past few editions we've been watching one on Sunday and the other on Thursday. We watched 1975 this past Thursday, but will postpone 1976 until Monday (due to some not being able to join the show on Sunday). So we'll watch 1976 on Monday at 21:00 CET and then 1977 on Thursday (most likely), also at 21:00 CET. :)

I'll also accept the votes from now on (I guess), though don't know how often I'll be able to do result shows. I don't know what will happen with the voting of the past few editions either, if those should be re-sent to me.. or if Renzo will reveal them at some point. xshrug

I must ask you that we have the 1981 LL either on Tuesday (tomorrow), Wednesday, or Friday. Heck, Saturday would work as well. I'm one of the few in Sweden with a monthly Internet data cap, and I ran out of it during the 1980 LL last week. I'll get my data back tomorrow, so this is why I wouldn't be able to attend a LL tonight. And on Thursday I have a uni thing to attend in the evening, so I wouldn't be able to be at the LL then either.

So this is why I ask you which of the other days you would prefer. 21:00 CET would still be the starting time. :)

So last minute, unexpected things have come up that will prevent me from attending the LL tonight after all (which seemed to be the most favorable choice), but I suggest you go ahead with it anyways if that is what you guys would prefer. Aigars or Adam could host it! I'll watch the show later this week instead. So it's up to you guys to organize it for tonight. :)

It's locked in that room, so I suppose we will move over to the Nostalgia room?

Sorry guys for not realizing the room had been locked all this time. It's been unlocked now to prevent this from happening again. Thank you for organizing it! xcheer

So as it turns out, we have to find a new day entirely to continue with the rest of the LLs, as from this point on I will have evening classes every Monday and Thursday until Christmas at least. :( So it's either going to have to be Tuesdays, Fridays or Saturdays I'm afraid. We should be able to get by with just one a week henceforth. Let me know which would suit you. :)

Tuesday would be fine as well as Friday. On Saturday evening I use to be busy with different stuff :)

Tuesdays or Fridays are fine for me because I'm off from work both days

Friday suits the best for me , but I suppose I would be able to attend it on other days too. :)

OK, so since this was announced on such short notice, let's go with Friday this week and from there on out we can decide which day would be the best after that.

So the ESC 1982 LL will be this Friday at 21:00 CET at http://plug.dj/eurovision-song-contest! :D

I have been taking care about the votings for a while, but I have to resign as doing it in the furture, because of the plans I have that might start this month. I have decided though that you are avalible to vote in 1978, 1979 and 1980 this week!

VOTE IN 1978 - Deadline Tuesday the 15th of September at 23 CET!
VOTE IN 1979 - Deadline Thursday the 17th of September at 23 CET!
VOTE IN 1980 - Deadline Sunday the 20th of September at 23 CET!

We're not entirely sure of the day yet, but it will most probably either be Tuesday or Friday. The year we're going to watch is 1984. We can mention you here in the thread when we know the day for sure. :)

Since the last time Anna had problems with her router and the internet I volunteered to host Nostalgia LL further. However, I will be very busy this week, including evenings and I think I can't host or even attend this week. :( Maybe we can arrange 2 times next week or just restart from the next once a week?
Also, we should arrange what days would be appropriate further. As it was said it's between Tuesdays or Fridays. Both I think are equally good for me, if you have any preferences, just say.

Either one of those days are fine with me since I have those days off from work, so I have no preference
