Kiril Dzajkovski as the composer!

The artist is of less importance, but preferably Daniel Kajmakoski, young X-Factor winner and strong vocal

I expect to see this team in Vienna!

Daniel Kajmakoski duet with Zeljko Joksimovic (Google translate :D)

Mentor reality show X-Factor, Zeljko Joksimovic winner Daniel Kajmakoski, after six months of friendship and cooperation for the purposes of the show, and now have the first joint song. "Skopje - Belgrade" is the title track of which perform these two musicians, for that Sunday and Monday Zeljko filming shots for the video, which will be complemented by those of Belgrade.

After a six-month collaboration with Daniel, spontaneously happen to shoot this song which is joyful and interesting. One day he came to my studio and as usual, took guitar in hand and just happened song. And I think that it was due to all of our fans. The video will be staff from both cities, and I can say that Skopje now looks great architectural much has changed and fascinating places for shooting video, "said Joksimovic, who somehow pulled him in duets, because a few days ago and the track record Tony Cetinski, soon will receive a spot.
Serbian singer, who has several times Eurovision experience as a writer and performer, said that if next year Daniel Kajmakoski be our Eurovision selection, would unselfishly helped.
"Daniel joked given that next year's Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, that may be the best he can sing, however, that there is his field. Would I rest of Eurovision as a singer, but if next year's choice was Daniel certainly would like to help and we gave out to do a song for a higher ranking. Same as it did in 2006 for Bosnia and Herzegovina, when Hari Mata Hari sang Layla "and won third place, which is the biggest success of this country of this musical competition, "says Zeljko and adds that when it comes to reality shows, these spaces have a curse or participants begin to shine like stars, and then disappear.

btw. Daniel's hometown is Vienna, Austria ;)

Macedonian Radio Television (MRT) has made a poll about the public opinion of their participation on Eurovision 2015. There are three options:

1) Македонскиот претставник треба да биде победникот на Скопскиот фестивал (The entry should be the winner of Skopje Fest)
2) Македонскиот претставник треба да се избере по пат на интерна селекција во МРТ (The entry should be chosen by internal selection from MRT)
3) Македонија не треба воопшто да учествува на Евровизија (Macedonia should not participate on Eurovision at all)

LINK FOR THE POLL
?нкета | М*Т (http://mrt.com.mk/node/10134)

PLEASE VOTE FOR OPTION 1 (IT WILL BE BETTER TO VOTE FOR NUMBER 1 BECAUSE IT'S GETTING MORE VOTES) OR 2 BECAUSE MRT DEFINITELY WILL THINK ABOUT AFTER THE RESULTS OF THIS POLL.
I HOPE THAT YOU TOO DON'T LIKE TO SEE MACEDONIA OUT OF EUROVISION.

VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't think it would be amazing considering they qualified once since 2007. Maybe its people voting multiple times for that answer. I casually slipped this on Wikipedia >.> where it stays there or not is another matter.

bastards. I feel deeply offended right now. How dare they, It took me ages to figure it all out. The person who removed it said "Rmv Macedonia. The detail is irrelevant to this section of the article. In here is about participation, not info on a poll to determine how Macedonia will select their entry." BITCH I SAID IT COULD POSSIBLY EFFECT THEIR PARTICIPATION SHOULD THE THIRD OPTION GETS PLENTY OF VOTES. I think I might put it back. >.>

edit: I undo'ed the person undo who removed it, and gave him a stern message in reply.

Yeah, it is! The non-qualification this year mostly, and then you have small factors like the politics (regarding the winner and how it was portrayed in the media globally, Russia, etc), all the Nordics consistently qualifying (I saw this among other non-fan's posts).

Not sure what's gonna happen. To me it looks like what Scooby said above! It also could be a way to get an attention. It worked for two countries this year, though I don't think it can work for Macedonia. If Macedonia takes part in JESC than it is 99% certain it will be in ESC, otherwise it's 50-50. And I don't see Macedonia taking part in this year's JESC after the recent results/voting.

Well the message to F.Y.R. Macedonia is simple: you've got to be in it to win it. Well more precisely, you've got to enter to stand a chance of qualifying to the Grand Final, and you've got to reach the Grand Final to win it. If you don't enter in 2015 you won't be able to qualify to the final, let alone win!

The Netherlands failed to qualify for eight consecutive years 2005 to 2012 inclusive, but they reached the final in 2013 and 2014. Never give up,

Well it's easier said than done. the dutch broadcaster probably had the money to keep doing it year after year. the Macedonian one doesn't. It probably can't afford to sink money year after year into a competition where they have qualified once since 2007. especially considering it has quite a low viewer figures. Don't get me wrong I would love them to stay and try again but there needs to be a degree of "reality" about it. There really isn't much left for them unless they can get a sponsor or someone is willing to pay all the fee's for it.

aletem
16th June 2014, 06:53
They have money for it, that's not the issue! I think we'll have to wait until late August/early September to hear their decision. Some people say that Kajmakoski should go in Vienna, some say Tyzee, while others say if Kaliopi couldn't get a top10, then nobody else can and not even Lady Gaga can for Macedonia. xshrug
MRTV is currently broadcasting the World Cup and has pre-shows and post-shows (practically occupied with that right now) that they even moved the handball match with Greece on the third channel.
It doesn't look good so far, but hopefully some good news will come by the end of the summer. Even some Macedonian fans are not keen on taking part in the contest anymore.

?нкета | М*Т (http://mrt.com.mk/node/10134)
The first option is that the representative should be the winner of Skopski Festival. 2nd option is internal selection. And the third option is withdrawal. SO far, the 3rd option is winning by over 2200 votes.

I hear what you say, but all countries eligible to participate really must learn the following, whether they like it or not. With over 50 EBU member countries eligible to enter, and as up to 43 countries having entered in recent years, countries will have to accept and understand that it's possible to enter and fail to get past the semi-finals for several consecutive years. No country can expect to qualify every year. Even those countries that have qualified every year since the introduction of semi-finals are bound to fail to qualify some time in the future. Remember each year is an independent event, how many consecutive years you've failed to qualify in the past has no bearing on whether or not you'll qualify next year. The EBU does not have a rule whereby if you fail to qualify for five consecutive years, you get an automatic bye in to the final the following year.

I'm a bit wary of the guidelines for SkopjeFest this year, particularly the submission deadline of the 31st of July. Could someone tell me when the announcement for song submissions was made? Because if it only came out today, as I imagine it did, that means there will be people rushing to write songs and lyrics and finding artists within 2 weeks which could potentially result in a terrible pool to pick from in SkopjeFest, leaving Macedonia with a terrible song in Austria, and therefore more dissatisfaction with the contest will grow in Macedonia, and we may not see them in 2016 as a result!

MakDok
16th July 2014, 11:55
^ The submission has been out for months, besides the bigger authors have good relationship to MRT (if they have a song they will get the time needed to work on it). ;)

The real problem is that the Festival is always a MESS when ESC ticket is to win. Hopefully it will be different this time.
I heard the voting will be in ESC style, including an int. jury.

Of course they should take part, especially at the 60th ani.

Only butthurt losers (Tamara) and some other silly Macedonians whined about w/d.

That being said, I'm doubtful Skopje Fest and that whole 1920's 'wanna be San Remo style' is an ultimate format for a good result. :(

aletem
19th July 2014, 07:03
Why not?
Because I don't want Macedonia to be a filler. They can get Bulgaria or Andorra for that! With the Skopje Fest thing is just going backwards. Skopje Fest may have transformed into a classical event, but the winner song can easily end up like Albania this year.

This is the only song I really like from the new/old Skopje Fest in the past two years:

It's not necessarily bad. A very good ballad can come out. The contest has been reinstated. It's more classical and a bit old-fashioned. The winning song will likely be 4 something minutes, so they would have to edit it for ESC standards. I don't like the idea of the Skopje Fest winner to be chosen for ESC. If they choose just the artist and change the song (and ask for foreign composers to make one), than that is a different story. It can be allowed for foreign composers to send songs on Skopje Fest (deadline is the end of this month I believe...and I doubt Kempe would submit a song here ).

I didn't watch Skopje Fest year ago and I don't know how it was held, but the rules of this year's fest are described along with possible contestests (oiko's wish list). They also mentioned the saME X-Factor guy someone mentiond here :)

She's always so fun to watch! Even her song on Makfest was fun and jolly! However, I don't think she has a chance unfortunately. It will come down to three acts IMO: Daniel, Tamara and Gish. With maybe Dimitar Andonovski and Panov coming up there for a good place.

After this year and her Makfest placing, I wouldn't give Tamara too big of a chance. xshrug Gish has raised his popularity in the past 2 years on talk shows, local concerts and band gatherings, and was a judge too on "Site nasi pesni". He's a hell of a performer, he even blows Daniel in comparison.

Mrm, i'm not really sure what I think of her or the song. She has a strong voice but it didn't really get to me in anyway and the song I don't know if I like either.

Kaliopi was a one of a kind. I really want her back. I think she is one of the greatest artists ever to perform at the contest.

Without Gish, I think it's pretty certain that it will be between Daniel and Tamara (75% vs 25%). I just hope both have really good songs!! I personally think it's too early to throw Daniel in the fire. He just ended up winning X-factor Adria and had one song with Zeljko Joksimovic. He is a good singer and he is not dull. Tamara is collaborating with Bilbilov on "Brod sto tone" (a title that sounds promising), so it might be pretty good. Like these ones he did for her:
Gotovo e

I know you're our most glamorous member, but I don't think even you can stand the GLAMOUR.

Yes, this glamour is perhaps a step too far, even for someone such as myself. I'd like to test myself to see if I can take it though, so I hope that after each performance, they go back to the red carpet as one by one, each celebrity comes down the carpet once more to give their opinions on the song they have just heard.

From now on, each time I agree with you, I will write "FANDANGO"! The forum will be flooded with fandangos, cause I usually agree with you, except in Sanmarinese thread...

Is this a National Final or a Cabaret Show

AshleyWright

I feel sorry for the international having to watch all of this.

ParadiseES
12th November 2014, 20:53
Why the orchestra? We are in 21st century, we don't use orchestra anymore to make music. It can fit to some classic ballad, but definitely not to modern crap like this first Macedonian song.

Oh my god, the sex of this first song. She was actually riding that man on the chair.

AshleyWright
12th November 2014, 20:53
finished so soon?

edit: omg no massive breaks between each song? This means we will get about 5000000000000000 interval acts and discussions on the songs.

Agreed. I think the orchestra will do that to all the uptempo songs on this.
