And just like that we have the last rehearsals for Day One of Eurovision 2024! It’s time for us to take a look at what Poland and Croatia have planned for this year’s contest.
Poland 🇵🇱 – LUNA built a tower in Malmo, literally

LUNA has told us all season long that she is the one who built the tower, and that’s exactly what she did. Referencing the chess imagery from her music video, the Polish delegation have brought two rook-like towers with them to Malmo.
These are multifunctional as they not only move, but LUNA also appears from behind them at the beginning of the performance and ends her performance atop the white tower.
The staging’s primary motifs are both white, black, and red, with a large white moon prevalent one the LED screen. LUNA’s outfit contains multiple pieces, from a latex red cloak that reveals to a two-piece red and white cropped top and skirt. These pieces have numerous lines of rhinestones on them, and her shoulders are in the shape of red points.
The skirt rips off at some point in the performance to reveal a pair of shorts and red thigh-high boots. She is joined on stage by three dancers who are each clothed in entirely red, black, or white clothing.

One of the most anticipated rehearsals of the day amongst Eurovision fans is favorite Croatia, who brought high energy to close out a long day of rehearsals.
The staging design mirrors the performance that fans witnessed during Dora earlier this year, but with new elements outside of just outfits.
From what we noticed the breakdown now features the green and pink lighting found in the LED screen during the final chorus, alongside promises of pyro on stage. There is also heightened amount of white light used to illustrate the differences between chorus and verse.
While Baby Lasagna’s cats unfortunately did not make it to Malmo, the dancing LED kitties were able to safely make the trip with him.
