Another Saturday, another update from the Baltic. Buckle up for the report of Eesti Laul’s third quarterfinal.

The quarterfinal, hosted by Eurovision veterans Ott Lepland and Laura Põldvere, featured ten submissions that were hoping to reach the live semifinal shows. This quarterfinal was deemed the “foreign language” semifinal, meaning all songs were in the foreign language of English. Here’s the list of acts and their respective songs.

  1. STEFAN – “Hope”
  2. deLULU – “Music saved my soul”
  3. Goodreason – “Three days ago”
  4. Elina Nechayeva – “Remedy”
  5. Lauri Pihlap – “Take Me Home”
  6. Levvis – “Let’s Talk About That”
  7. Merilin Mäik – “Little Girl”
  8. Anna Sahlene – “Champion”
  9. Alabama Watchdog – “Move On”
  10. Shira – “Under Water”

Like in the previous two shows, the audience were shown video clips of each entry, as live shows will only commence with the semifinals. After the ten songs were played for the first time, the voting lines were opened for five minutes.

Soon thereafter came the three televote qualifiers:

  • STEFAN!!
  • Elina Nechayeva!!
  • Anna Sahlene!!

With the top three in the televote secure, it came down to the juries to advance two more entries. The juries chose these two entries:

  • Alabama Watchdog!!
  • Merilin Mälk!!

Which means these five are the acts we’ll see once we go live in the semifinals on 3 and 5 February 2022.
