The televoting results for Eesti Laul have been released by Estonian national broadcaster ERR, and they make for some very interesting viewing.
Elina Born and Stig Rästa, who won the competition on Saturday, crushed the competition in all three rounds. The duet achieved 23,966 televotes in their semi-final, compared to Daniel Levi’s second placed entry which only recieved 3,524. In the final’s first round, Elina and Stig once again achieved a landslide victory over Daniel with 44,974 votes against 7,369.
And of course, we all know that Elina and Stig recieved 79% of the final vote between them, Daniel Levi and Elisa Kolk. By comparison, Alexander Rybak achieved 77% of the vote between four superfinalists in Norway’s MGP 2009.
