The hectic days are indeed over us, the second semi-final has concluded and with that, we got another 10 finalists for this year’s contest, and since it was the conclusion of the second semi-final, we finally learned who became this year’s 26 finalists, let’s have a quick look into all of that.
The remaining spots
Let’s first have a quick look once again at the 10 finalists, who qualified from tonight’s semi-final, and of course congratulate them all once again while we’re at it. They all gave an incredible and unforgettable performance, which they all hopefully will cherish for life.
Now, here’s the reminder of tonight’s 10 qualifiers:

As another reminder, this semi-final was also purely decided by televote, just like how it was done in the first semi-final this year. However, the final will use the 50/50 system between the televote and the jury. Also, the 2024 contest will feature the new idea of a “producer’s choice”, meaning that the producers can place countries anywhere in the final.

Now that we also know where all 26 finalists are placed, we’ll be awaiting the full running order for the final later tonight. The EBU will use the info that we know to pick and place all the finalists into the final running order. All countries that picked first half, can be placed anywhere between spot 2-13, while the ones that picked second half can be placed anywhere between 14-26.
Back in March, during the head of delegation meeting, it was decided that Sweden would perform 1st in the final. Meanwhile, the countries that picked producer’s choice, can end up anywhere. Below you can watch or re-watch the press conference for the 10 qualifiers of semi-final 2.
