What a show, what a spectacular, some performances, it’s all happening again! We wish the best of luck to the eliminated acts, and can now just only look forward to see, where tonight’s 10 qualified acts will perform in the final!
First or second half?
Once again, a huge congrats to the 10 countries of 🇳🇴 Norway, 🇷🇸 Serbia, 🇵🇹 Portugal, 🇭🇷 Croatia, 🇨🇭 Switzerland, 🇮🇱 Israel, 🇲🇩 Moldova, 🇸🇪 Sweden, 🇨🇿 Czech Republic, & 🇫🇮 Finland, who has made it to this year’s grand final.
As a reminder, for 2023, only the televote made the decision on who should advance to the final, so these 10 countries can thank the public for the needed support.
After the live show in Liverpool took place, each country had to take part in what is known as the winner’s press conference, which is where the 10 qualified acts answer a few questions from the press, but before they got to that, they had to pick their spot in the final, whether they would be in the first or the second half.
At the end of the press conference, it was revealed that the 10 qualified countries would perform as follow:
- Entering in the first half of the grand final:
- – Switzerland 🇨🇭
- – Finland 🇫🇮
- – Portugal 🇵🇹
- – Sweden 🇸🇪
- – Serbia 🇷🇸
- Entering in the second half of the grand final:
- – Croatia 🇭🇷
- – Moldova 🇲🇩
- – Czech Republic 🇨🇿
- – Israel 🇮🇱
- – Norway 🇳🇴
With that, we now know that there are now “5” spots left in the first half and “5” spots left in the second half for the remaining 10 qualifiers from the second semi-final. These will be decided on Thursday 11th of May 2023, as well in Liverpool.
The BIG 5 and the defending champions that is Ukraine, have already picked their side of the running order, with both Ukraine and The United Kingdom already knowing when they’ll perform in the final. Which is as follows:
- 🇫🇷 France – First half in the the final
- 🇮🇹 Italy – First half in the the final
- 🇪🇸 Spain – First half in the the final
- 🇩🇪 Germany – Second half in the the final
- 🇺🇦 Ukraine – 19th in the final
- 🇬🇧 United Kingdom – 26th in the final
