Valentina Monetta’s English version of the San Marino entry “Crisalide” is now available.
Listen to “Chrysalis (You’ll Be Flying)” below
The English lyrics are by Jim Leary.
The stage premiere of the English version will be at the London Eurovision Party at Shadow Lounge in Soho on April 21st.
At Eurovision in Malmö, the entry will be sung fully in Italian.
What are your thought of the English version? Are you happy or disappointed that the Italian version will be presented in Malmo?

The melody is what makes the cheese, I don’t like it much in Italian either.
It’s typical Siegel-Schlager, reminds me a lot of Corinna May in 2002, remember her disaster?

But Ralph did not write the English lyrics. I however think it is wise to sing it in ITALIAN – for some reason EURO fans just give points when something is in ITALIAN.

I have to agree that the cheese factor increases when in English but still enjoying the Italian version
