It seems that Cyprus are poised and ready to announce their hopeful for Eurovision 2021 as the head of the national broadcaster CyBC confirmed a Eurovision announcement would take place tomorrow morning!
The artist for the Mediterranean island’s Eurovision participation next year looks set to be unveiled on morning TV show ‘Ómorfi méra káthe méra‘ (Beautiful Day Every Day) at approximately 10:00 local time (09:00 CET), according to the chairman of the broadcaster, Andreas Frangos on Twitter.

According to Greek Eurovision website Eurovision Fun, the artists will be a female singer signed to the Greek label Panik Records, however it is not yet confirmed who it will be.
Cyprus had selected Sandro Nicholas to represent them in Eurovision 2020 with the deep house cut “Running”, before the contest was cancelled in March due to the pandemic. Cyprus had since become the first country to confirm their artist would not be carried over for 2021 and as a result, tomorrow should be the first instance of a new name to add to the Eurovision family!
