With the national final season coming to a close, the final few countries are making their songs known. Today Azerbaijan have released their entry for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. Samra will be performing “Miracle” in Stockholm.
Azerbaijan have once again opted for a Swedish team to write their song. This will be Azerbaijan’s 9th Eurovision entry, and the 7th which has been written by Swedes, the writers are Amir Aly, T.I Jakke, and Henrik Wikström. The song was selected from over 400 songs, which were whittled down to just one, “Miracle”.
Samra will perform “Miracle” in the second half of the first Semi-Final on the 10th of May.
